Rave replaces a SR deck but its uncompressed, it means 0 loss in generations since we don't change colorspace. It costs less, the hardware is extremely reliable so the tco tends to zero.
Since Rave is frame based and dpx is the industry standard there is no export time when a client requires a image sequence, its just a copy, I don't need to book an workstation/operator to do that...

Try to quote a 24TB multi format ddr...ask for the source code...
