The EDL allows you to bring shots in, trim and re-position them. From here the EDL can be seen as a virtual tape that can be feed out to a monitor, projector, deck, color-corrector or a number of applications and systems such as Avid, FCP, or Discreet and even older systems such as an Axial.
When doing a conform this playlist is generated automatically and black markers are currently placed where transitions are used. Rave currently does not render transitions, however it's in the works. |
