Conforming and Batch Capture
Rave supports conforming to/from CMX3600 lists, creating both a batch and playlist simultaneously. Settings are built in to allow you to conform in a variety of ways, such as with or without the transition footage.

Batch capture features include setting and capturing with handles, defining a starting frame number (for VFX workflow) and capturing the flagged frames from Varicam footage.

Batch Capture
Batch Capture is fairly straight forward, offering you control of the deck connected to, the ability to input data or grab on the fly, the ability to grab just the flagged frames from Varicam and the ability to verify the information is correct before you hit capture.

Dialog information informs you of what's going on and Rave has been designed to insure absolute accuracy in regards to timecode, audio and frame drops.

Batch is only one method in several for capture with Rave.

Conforming
Rave supports CMX3600 EDLs to conform against. You can also choose to conform to the comment names in the EDL if needed.

Select, Name clips based on comments and comment reference

You will end up with a conform using those names.
