Rave offers the ability to sync two virtual VTRs running on the same system together to offer stereoscopic support. Unlike other solutions, Rave requires no conversion to play out stereo images. Simply drop on DPX frames of the Right eye and DPX frames of the Left eye and play. This method saves tremendous time in the workflow and is compatible with many other applications on the market for creating the images. The images below show the left eye, right eye and the combined eyes, within Rave you can monitor all of these by simply changing a setting on the fly. The mix between the two eyes is a real-time process applied to the output which allows for the checking of the following quickly:
The SDI streams can be feed to a variety of sources for viewing, Rave is agnostic in this regards.
