Rave offers full VTR emulation in both master and slave mode. Devices such as decks, controllers, telecines, other DDRs, editing systems and color correctors can all control Rave in addition to these devices being controlled by Rave.
Rave uses the standard Sony P2 protocol and the RS422 library was written in-house, allowing for flexibility to change code where and when needed to support a variety of devices (both old and new). |
 | Rave offers settings for a variety of uses. One example is the shuttle speed. The colorist can have the choice of how he or she wishes the Rave to behave with the davinci. |
