Interface Support
Rave is a client server application whereas the GUI or client part of the application can exist on other systems. Rave currently ships with a GUI that can be compiled on Linux systems in addition to tools that allow the interface to be forwarded to Mac and Windows systems.

The server side exists on the Rave system and is assessable via standard network protocols. This configuration allows multiple clients to connect up simultaneously to the server.

Viewer
The confidence window allows you to view what is coming in and going out of the system. This viewer is unique in that it is TCP/IP based, which allows you to push it, the playlist info and what clip is playing all to an external browser.

Formats are being rescaled and converted on the fly in real-time. The viewer can be toggled on/off.

Browser
The browser supports a variety of formats. This feature allows you to use calibration tools for monitors and projectors easily.

The structure of how folders and files are to appear is left entirely open and definable by the user. Folders and clips can be created and deleted directly from the browser.

Player
The player operates using both RS422 and Ethernet control and RaveHD offers the ability to view and work in both timecode or frames. Operates like a deck with features such as E/E, Standby, Jog, Shuttle, Fast Forward, Play, Rewind and Reverse Play, yet has the same functionality of traditional DDRs making Rave a great solution for uncompressed dailies.

Rave offers control in both slave or master mode.
